Citation XLS: a new interior, tailored to its owner.
A cabin refurbishment following an aircraft purchase, completed in February and March 2024: bespoke diamond stitching, renewed surfaces and controls, and a durable dark carpet for regular use.
Following the purchase of this Cessna Citation XLS, its dated cabin was to be adapted to the new owner’s wishes: simple, modern and suited to regular use. The interior and all its surfaces were comprehensively refurbished in February and March 2024.
From the existing interior to a new design.
The interior was showing its age: the seats were worn, their cushioning compressed through years of use, and the wood surfaces were cracked, with flaking clear lacquer. The new owner wanted a simple, modern interior, with materials and details chosen to suit their taste and regular use.

The work behind the transformation.
The cabin components were removed so the interior and its surfaces could be comprehensively reworked. The workshop photographs show the scale of the work behind the finished result.

Materials, colours and finishes were considered together. The controls were included in the refurbishment, with new coatings or plating to bring these smaller details into the overall design.

Personal details, considered together.
The seats received new upholstery with a bespoke diamond stitch pattern. Dark surfaces provide a calm contrast to the light seating and cabin panels.

Designed for everyday use.
Durability and resistance to visible dirt were priorities for the new carpet. The dark floor covering was selected for heavier use and complements the restrained colour scheme.
The result is a contemporary interior whose design runs from the seat stitching to the smallest controls, with the personal signature of its new owner.
