For Courchevel, Méribel or Megève, we compare the whole journey. A helicopter can shorten the transfer to the resort, but needs suitable conditions and a confirmed landing site. Does Chambéry have separate private jet handling?
Yes, Chambéry has a business aviation terminal. Opening and handling are confirmed for your travel date. Use outside its regular seasonal opening periods needs to be arranged in advance.
Will my private jet land directly in Courchevel or Méribel?
On a journey via Chambéry, the jet flight ends at CMF. Commercial fixed-wing access to Courchevel Altiport is limited to a few suitable aircraft types and appropriately authorised operators. Méribel’s very short runway is not a regular private jet arrival option. For both resorts, we recommend a separately assessed helicopter connection.
What happens if the helicopter cannot fly?
We discuss an onward road transfer as the alternative. Weather and the time available for the connection inform the flight plan. Passenger weights, suitcases and ski bags are checked for the helicopter; larger luggage can travel separately where required.
