Is Oakland the same airport as San Francisco International?
No. Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport uses the code OAK and is on the east side of the bay. San Francisco International uses SFO and is on the Peninsula. Both may be considered for a Bay Area trip.
Can I land at Oakland and connect to an airline flight at SFO?
This can be planned, but it requires a change of airport. We allow for road traffic, baggage and airline check-in deadlines. With your flight number, we can also assess whether arriving by private jet directly at SFO would better suit the connection.
