Airport selection & considerations
Farnborough Airport (FAB / EGLF) is a business aviation airport in Hampshire, south-west of London. We include it when comparing arrivals for Hampshire, Surrey or west London. For a central London address, the drive matters as much as the flight time.
Handling, operating hours & availability
Published opening hours are 07:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 20:00 at weekends and on UK bank holidays, all in local time. The airport is closed on 25 and 26 December. We check your date, handling arrangements and current restrictions with the operator. A late meeting needs a return flight that can still operate.
Onward travel & baggage
Our local partners can arrange a chauffeur at the confirmed meeting point. For London, we allow for the address and traffic conditions. An onward airline flight from Heathrow or Gatwick requires an airport transfer, with time to collect luggage and check in again.

Work back from your appointment.
Tell us the address and when you need to be there. For a day visit, we also need to know when you can leave. We can then assess the flight and chauffeur transfer against Farnborough’s opening hours. A confirmed meeting point gives your assistant one less detail to chase.

Is Farnborough always the best airport for London?
Its location south-west of the capital can suit Hampshire, Surrey or west London. For other addresses, we compare Biggin Hill and Luton. The airport name alone tells you little about the onward drive.
Can I fly home after a late evening appointment?
That depends on when your appointment ends, the drive to the airport and the confirmed departure time. Farnborough does not operate around the clock. Share your planned collection time before fixing the return flight.
