Airport selection & considerations

Atatürk (ISL / LTBA) is on the European side and remains in use for general aviation. We assess it for meetings in this part of Istanbul. It is a different airport from Istanbul Airport (IST / LTFM).

Handling, operating hours & availability

Private flights use the General Aviation Terminal. The operator and handler confirm suitability, available times and parking for your journey. A scheduled connection at Istanbul Airport requires a change of airport, for which we allow sufficient time.

Onward travel & baggage

Your chauffeur meets you at the confirmed collection point at Atatürk. We plan the drive to your hotel or meeting around the actual address and traffic. If you are heading to the Asian side, we also compare Sabiha Gökçen before booking.

A clear airport name avoids confusion.

The city name alone is not a meeting point in Istanbul. We identify Atatürk clearly as ISL / LTBA and confirm the handling address. Let us know if an airline flight from Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen follows. The drive to the other airport, baggage arrangements and check-in then belong in the schedule.

Your questions. Clearly answered.

Can private flights still use Atatürk?

Atatürk remains in use for general aviation. The operator and handler confirm whether your particular flight can operate, checking current conditions, handling and parking.

Are Atatürk and Istanbul Airport the same airport?

No. Atatürk uses ISL / LTBA; Istanbul Airport uses IST / LTFM. Moving between them requires a transfer. Please provide the flight number for any onward airline connection.
