Airport selection & considerations
Santorini International Airport (JTR / LGSR) serves the island. Departure point, passengers and luggage guide aircraft selection. For your transfer, we use the full hotel or villa address, rather than the village name alone.
Handling, operating hours & availability
Private flights require prior permission for apron use, known as PPR. A licensed ground handler submits the request. Flight times and the permitted parking period need confirmation for your journey.
Onward travel & baggage
A local partner can provide a chauffeur. We agree with your accommodation where the vehicle can stop and where you will be met. If there is a walk to reception, arrangements for your bags should be settled in advance too.
Location and time zone: airportsdata · as of 30 September 2026. Operating details are checked before booking.
Plan through to the hotel entrance.
Not every property can be reached directly by car. We agree a meeting point with your hotel and establish luggage arrangements. For an island change, include details of the next flight or boat.

Can the aircraft wait throughout my stay?
Flight times and parking duration are confirmed for your trip. Aircraft availability does not establish airport parking availability. We account for positioning for the return in the quotation.
Can I still travel if weather disrupts the plan?
We assess the alternatives with the operator. A different flight time or arrival may be needed. Boat and helicopter connections also depend on conditions and are not guaranteed alternatives.
