Corfu “Ioannis Kapodistrias” (CFU / LGKR) is the island’s arrival airport. We assess your flight for the requested date, including the onward journey. Being close to town does not mean a short transfer to a villa on another coast.
Handling, operating hours & availability
Private and business flights require prior parking clearance, known as PPR, through an approved handling agent. We confirm the necessary clearances and flight times. The airport has announced a runway closure from 20 to 28 January 2027, suspending commercial and private flights. We check the latest position before booking.
Onward travel & baggage
Local partners can provide a chauffeur to your accommodation or the agreed meeting point at Gouvia Marina. We confirm collection details and luggage in advance. If you are continuing by sea, the transfer follows the confirmed embarkation point.

Which airport will I use for a private flight to Corfu?

What does PPR mean for my journey?
PPR here means the parking clearance required in advance. It is obtained through an approved handling agent. Your flight is confirmed only once the necessary operating arrangements have been agreed.
Can I fly to Corfu throughout January 2027?
The airport announcement checked on 5 October 2026 schedules runway closure from 20 to 28 January 2027 for construction work. Commercial and private flights are suspended during that period. For affected dates, we assess different travel days or a separately planned alternative arrival.
Can I request a chauffeur to Gouvia Marina?
Yes. Share your confirmed meeting point and preferred arrival time. We coordinate the flight and vehicle and can agree the handover with your yacht crew. A boat journey is not automatically included in the airport transfer.
